  • To enhance your festival experience and ensure maximum comfort, we recommend bringing your own chair or blanket. This way, you can relax and unwind in style while enjoying the festivities.

    Don't forget your ID as it will be checked at registration and without ID, we won’t be able to let you in.

  • The cost of each sample is freely set by the brewer based on the characteristics of each beer and the brewer's know-how. You will need between 1 and 4 tokens for a sample.

    All samples must be exchanged for sample tokens and no cash sales are permitted for any drinks. The maximum sample size is 5oz for beer, cider, RTDs and 1/2 ounce for spirits.

    The food trucks onsite will not take tokens and will accept cash and/or credit cards.

  • Attendees must be over 19 years old to be able to enter the festival.

    Every entry (if not DD) includes a minimum of 10 tokens and the Parksville Beer Festival branded sample glass.

  • We know beers can make you hungry, therefore, we gathered the best food trucks of Parksville who will be cooking delicious meals for you all day long.

    We can’t have any outside food or beverages on site.

  • The gate will open at 11 am for VIP guests and 12 pm for guests who bought Early Bird, Designated Drivers or General Admission tickets.

    The event will end at 6 pm.

  • As much as we love all animals, we cannot allow any pets on site unless they are registered service animals with identification.

  • All tickets for this event are purchased through the box office McMillan Art Centre here.

  • While we are happy to see families enjoying an afternoon together, absolutely no minors (under the age of 19) are permitted within the grounds.

  • The event will take place in the Parksville Community Park. We encourage everyone to access the event by foot, public transport, or by bicycle.

    For those coming by car, there is a free parking lot but it fills quickly.

    We have a different ticket available for Designated Drivers. We welcome designated drivers and have thus included many food items and entertainment for those not partaking in the sampling of alcohol.

    DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!

  • Absolutely NO smoking or vaping is permitted onsite.

  • Due to our license and capacity restrictions, security will need to make sure you are wearing the PBF wristband before re-entry.
